The building is open Tuesday–Friday 12:00–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–22:00; it closes Mondays. The grounds and roads are generally open daily 05:00–22:30. Planetarium shows and nearby parking cost extra, and the observatory is busiest at weekends and sunset.
