THE PRICE NOTE

The Imperial Household Agency lists admission as free. Baggage inspection is conducted at the entrance; keep belongings light.

CHECK THE DAY

From 1 November through February, the Gardens are open 09:00–16:00, last entry 15:30. They normally close Mondays and Fridays, 28 December–3 January, and during some Imperial Court functions; holiday exceptions apply. Entry includes baggage inspection, so travel light and check the calendar.
