A good reason to go

Trade the busy centre for planted paths, tropical collections and ornate historic glasshouses in the Bois de Boulogne. The grand greenhouse halls make this a good weather-proof botanical stop, although not every passage is step-free.

THE PRICE NOTE

Entry to the garden and greenhouses is free. Groups need authorisation; a few entrances close during the Roland-Garros tournament, while other entrances remain open.

CHECK THE DAY

For 25 October 2026–28 February 2027, the City lists the garden 08:00–17:00 on weekdays and 09:00–17:00 at weekends; greenhouses close at 16:15. Some historic greenhouse corridors are not wheelchair- or pushchair-accessible. During Roland-Garros, Gordon Bennett Avenue and Boulevard d'Auteuil gates close; match-day access from Boulevard d'Auteuil also closes four hours before kickoff.
